FOLLOWING mY MUSE BACK TO MUSIC

After finishing my 3rd book I finally  felt compelled to do music again. I haven’t done a new musical project in a long time.  I haven’t written any new songs in a very long time either .  Actually over  20 yrs!! …so this is pretty exciting. At age 55 I am back to recording. When lyrics (in poem form)  started flowing out of me recently I was so darn  happy to feel that creative urge again after such a dry spell. If any of you have had dry spells  in your life but might know how wonderful it feels to finally have a breakthrough! All along  while writing my books I had this feeling that the floodgates were opening not only for my poetry books but for me to begin to write songs again. ‘ERR ON THE SIDE OF COMPLETION’ Seth Godin is an American author, entrepreneur, marketer, and public speaker. He is an inspiration to me. He says he puts out a blog every day, 365 days a year and has done that for years. No matter what– he puts it out there with no expectation except  the accomplishment of getting it done!
